About the photos: These photos were all taken with a medium-format "toy camera," either a Holga 120S or Lubitel 166U. I paid $15 for each, and they are very rudimentary. The Holga has a fixed shutter speed and aperture and a plastic lens. The Lubitel isn't much more advanced.

These cameras let you forget about the technical aspects of photography and focus on the image. The resulting photos are always technically flawed, but that's what makes them beautiful.
